Funjet Vacations’ Fun for Life agent rewards program has been changed, rewarding agents with cash. Instead of earning “Fun-Jets” or points to be redeemed towards merchandise, trips or bonus commission certificates, agents will instead earn cash that will be loaded onto a personalized, reloadable Visa debit card, Funjet says.
“We’ve invested in these changes to the Fun for Life program to make it even more convenient and lucrative for travel agents. Now, they’ll automatically earn cash on their personal debit card to use towards anything they want. This is a game-changing reward program that sets us apart from everyone else and we’re very excited to roll this out to the agent community,” said Darya Camacci, Funjet Vacations’ vice president of sales and marketing.
Agents earn cash by making a booking with Funjet Vacations in VAXVacationAccess.com or over the phone through their call centers. Group bookings including Funjet’s “Groups Your Way” program also qualify to earn the cash rewards in addition to reservations made through an agency’s GoFunjet web portal.
Funjet Vacations is also teaming up with Blue Sky Tours, a Hawaii tour operator, so that any bookings made by agents enrolled in the program with either Funjet or Blue Sky will automatically earn cash that will be loaded onto their debit card.
Another program perk is that agents will earn bonus cash when shopping at thousands of popular on-line retailers such as Amazon.com, Best Buy, OfficeMax, Target, Wal-Mart, Sears and The Home Depot.
The debit cards are loaded automatically and travel agents will receive monthly emails detailing how much they’ve earned and their cash balances along with promotional opportunities to earn bonus cash, Funjet says.
Existing Fun for Life members will automatically be enrolled in the new program and debit cards will be issued this December and mailed directly to agencies with cash payments loaded on the debit cards beginning in January.
Agents will have until December 15 to redeem all of their banked “Fun-Jets” within the current Fun for Life program and for every 100 unused “Fun-Jets” remaining in an agent’s account after December 15, that agent will automatically be entered to win one of three luxury vacations.
To kick off the new Fun for Life – Bonus Cash program, Funjet Vacations is announcing several offers for bookings starting November 4, such as $10 bonus cash for all American Airlines bookings, up to $30 bonus cash when booking at select hotels. Bonus offers are also combinable, giving agents the ability to build their cash earnings faster.
