GOGO Worldwide Vacations, a wholesaler of value and amenity-packed vacation packages, has partnered with Moneydirect to process travel agency commission payments. Moneydirect, an Amadeus and Sabre joint venture, is the leading provider of multi-channel payment solutions.
GOGO and their network of agency partners expect to gain significant benefits from the Moneydirect solution, which automates settlement, reconciliation and reporting of all commissions between GOGO and travel agencies. “Moneydirect allows us to migrate from remitting paper checks to a completely electronic solution," said Michele Kish, president of GOGO Worldwide Vacations. "Our agency partners see tremendous value in receiving their commission payments directly into their bank account with the accompanying reports being sent to their designated e-mail address – all at no additional cost to them.” GOGO has been piloting the new solution since January.
“It’s nice to see a company that gets it right the first time,” said Julius Sterling, owner of Sterling Travel in Freeport, NY. “I especially liked the detail report so I could see what the entire deposit was for.”
Moneydirect and GOGO expect to roll out the solution to over 5,000 travel agencies during the first quarter of this year. Nearly 10,000 customers currently trust Moneydirect to securely manage more than $2.5 billion annually in global travel payments on its best in class processing platform.
