Hilton Hefei Appoints New Executive Chef

Hilton Hefei, scheduled to be open in January 2007 in Singapore, has announced the appointment of Chris Cheng as its new executive chef. Cheng will oversee four iconic restaurants offering authentic cuisine and will also be responsible for managing the banquet facilities within the hotel, believed to be the largest in the growing city of Hefei, capital of Anhui Province in China. Cheng is a Hong Kong native and Australian national with 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to helming the team at Hilton Hefei, he was the executive chef at Hilton Chongqing and Dalian, before venturing to Macau.
