A new agreement between Hilton Hotels and Tourico Holidays allows for a vast majority of Hilton's domestic inventory to be distributed through the wholesale travel provider.
"Not only will we be able to provide our clients with selected hotels they need within the Hilton Family of Hotels, but this partnership will supply Hilton's U.S. properties with year-round reservations, as we've opened up their inventory to a global marketplace," said Asi Ginio, executive vice president of product development for Tourico Holidays, a Travel Holdings, Inc., company.
"We anticipate this direct connect enhancement to result in additional inbound business from the almost 100 countries in which Tourico Holidays is operating, including gateway and secondary cities where our hotels are located," said Kelly Yoder Phillips, vice president, international and leisure sales for Hilton Hotels Corp. "Conversely, direct connect will provide Tourico Holidays customers with nearly unlimited room inventory to book our hotels in the U.S."
