America’s Vacation Center/Avoya Travel has promoted Steve Hirshan to vice president of sales support. Hirshan will be leading support programs for the company’s network of independent affiliates.
Hirshan previously served as director of sales, where he worked closely with the company’s independent affiliates. During his tenure, America’s Vacation Center /Avoya Travel significantly grew the sales volume and commissions of its network.
Hirshan holds an MBA from Hofstra University and is a 25-year veteran of the travel industry. His experience encompasses leadership positions in travel agencies and cruise lines including seven years as the vice president of sales and marketing for MSC Cruises USA.
Prior to MSC Cruises USA, Hirshan was the director of cruise marketing for Liberty Travel, and the vice president of sales for Regency Cruises and Bermuda Star Lines.
