InterContinental Debuts First Hotel in VietnamInterContinental Hotels Group PLC is poised to open its first hotel in Vietnam, the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. The 359-room hotel will officially open March 6 and is located 10 minutes from the heart of Hanoi.

The waterfront property is anchored by a 161-room main building that is complemented by three pavilions, each with 66 rooms and suites. Balconies jut from each of the hotel's 340 rooms and 19 suites, all with views of the 1,235-acre lake-the cityscape or the property's tropical gardens.

Guest rooms have LCD televisions and high-speed Internet and bathrooms offer double-basin vanities, deep-soaking tubs and separate walk-in rain shower cabins.

The hotel's signature restaurant, the Milan-Saigon, features glass-encased show kitchens and Italian and pan-Asian cuisine. The ballroom can accommodate 400 guests and meeting rooms are equipped with technical support that includes Internet coverage, video conferencing and projection capabilities.
