Ensemble wants its members to get cruising. At the 2011 Ensemble Travel Group International Conference in Las Vegas, it was announced that the consortium will be launching a brand new business tool: a cruise booking engine designed to provide agents with one-stop shopping and booking of Ensemble's 1,500 cruise departures and amenities.
The engine will be available to U.S. members by the end of 2011 and to Candian members by the first quarter of 2012. The site will be powered by partner Passport Online, and is free to all Ensemble agencies in the U.S. and Canada.
In this "New Day," it is all about speed, efficiency and maximizing customer satisfaction, which is what this technology aims to offer. It will give members the ability to search and book Ensemble's cruise partners in real-time. What's more, agents can browse the collection of Ensemble hosted, amenity group and promotional sailings. The Ensemble Experiences and the Ensemble amenities will be displayed for booking so that agents will know their clients receive the popular perks.
The booking engine will also offer graphics, deck plans, itineraries, photo galleries, maps and destination overviews. Agents will be able to access the engine at www.ensembleagent.com.
