Luxury Travel Expo Shatters Opening Week Registration Numbers

The Luxury Travel Expo, produced by Luxury Travel Advisor and Travel Agent magazine and wholly owned by Questex Media Group, has announced that the 2009 trade show broke registration numbers during its opening week. According to show management, registration is up 60 percent over previous years. Luxury Travel Expo will be held from December 1-3, 2009 at The Signature at MGM Grand and the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.

With the current economic conditions, Luxury Travel Expo anticipates strong attendance at its show this December. “Agents recognize the necessity for education and networking now more than ever to be competitive in the luxury market,” remarked show director, Alicia Evanko. “They realize enormous benefits they receive by attending Luxury Travel Expo. At the end of three days, agents can learn from thousands of their peers and more than 600 suppliers.”

Agents can register for $50 at www.LuxuryTravelExpo.com. Included in registration is a year’s subscription to Luxury Travel Advisor, admission to more than 30 conference sessions, two keynote presentations, nine trade hours, more than 500 exhibits, access to the virtual component Luxury Travel Expo Connect and a ticket to the popular Luxury After Dark party. Plus, the first 800 agents to register can participate in the Experience Vegas promotion, sponsored by MGM MIRAGE.
