Luxury Travel, Home-Based Travel Agent Expos to Break Travel Week Records

Travel Week, anchored by the eighth annual Luxury Travel Expo and the inaugural Home-Based Travel Agent Expo & Conference, is set to hit record attendance this week in Las Vegas. Collocating at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Travel Week, which kicked off on Tuesday and runs through Thursday, is expected to attract more than 8,000 travel industry professionals. Luxury Travel Expo, produced by Luxury Travel Advisor, Travel Agent Magazine, and Premier Hotels & Resorts, and wholly owned by Questex Media, boasts a sold-out exhibit floor with more than 500 luxury suppliers. The largest U.S.-based luxury travel trade show, the event will include live entertainment, keynotes and world-class educators. Luxury travel destinations, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, and CVBs will be among the companies exhibiting at Luxury Travel Expo. The new Home-Based Travel Agent Expo & Conference, produced by Home-Based Travel Agent Magazine and Travel Agent Magazine, and also wholly owned by Questex Media, aims to deliver the largest, most significant gathering of home-based travel agents and travel suppliers in the industry. "We are excited to deliver a powerful and influential group of top travel agents to Las Vegas," says Alicia Evanko, show manager. "Our partners at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority recognize the importance of the travel agent community and are planning to roll out the red carpet for our attendees."
