LVCVA Partners to Offer Incentives

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has teamed up with Funjet Vacations and US Airways Vacations to offer separate incentive programs for travel agents. For the third year in a row, Funjet and LVCV will award one agent with a new car. Agents will earn points based on the revenue they generate from booking Las Vegas air/hotel packages, car rentals or tours through Funjet. Vacations with a reservation value of $500 to $800 are worth one point, $801 to $1,000 are worth three points and $1,001 and greater are worth five points. The top-producing agents will be sent by Funjet to Las Vegas December 10 through 12 to take part in a cocktail party and dinner where the car will be awarded. LVCVA's incentive with US Airways, meanwhile, is a first-time venture called the "Vegas Summer Getaway Giveaway." Ten agencies that book the highest number of Las Vegas room nights through US Airways Vacations during the month of May for travel between July 1 and August 31 will win either a 42"-plasma flat-screen high-definition TV, Bose Wave Radio, three iPod Nanos or five $100 SuperCertificates that can be redeemed at Agencies must register for the incentive online and at least one agent in the practice must be a US Airways Vacations Specialist and Vegas Certified by May 31. Agents can become a US Airways Vacations Specialist at []. Visit [] and [].
