Sabre reports that Marriott International, Inc. has signed a long-term distribution agreement extension. Sabre-connected travel agents will have access to room rates and availability to the more than 3,800 Marriott properties, across 18 distinctive brands in 72 countries and territories, Sabre says.

The Sabre global distribution system (GDS) now connects 370,000 travel agents to more than 400 airlines, 125,000 hotels, 275 car rental brands, more than 50 rail providers, 14 cruise lines and other global travel suppliers. More than 300 million people purchase airline tickets $100 billion of travel is purchased through this channel annually, Sabre says.
