A series of 20 webinars for agency members of the MAST Travel Network has been announced. Beginning December 15 and continuing for eight months, the webinars feature presentations by Nolan Burris, a marketing and management guru. The webinars are one of the initiatives being launched by MAST as part of its strategic plan for 2011, according to John Werner, MAST’s president and COO.
The webinar series begins with customer service strategies in today’s marketplace and follows a progression from sales consulting to “beating” the internet to planning and implementing a fee-based revenue environment.
The second half of the series discusses marketing fundamentals, agency databases, and internet marketing from websites to social media. The series ends with ways to attract and manage new talent to the industry — particularly young professionals.
Werner said agent education is one component of MAST’s plans for 2011, which include additional E-mail marketing programs, social media promotions, customer database support, business coaching and fee-based revenue models.
MAST Travel Network has nearly 200 agency members in 10 U.S. states and Canada.
