MAST Travel Network reports that Norwegian Cruise Line is the group's newest preferred supplier. The agreement includes a group booking program, marketing initiatives, sales incentives and training activities, MAST said.
With 12 ships and the Norwegian Getaway arriving in February plus two more ships to come, Norwegian Cruise Line offers MAST members new product and sales opportunities to present to their customers, MAST said.
MAST agencies can take advantage of Norwegian Cruise Line's unique venues for groups such as organized dine-around events, restaurant buy-outs, big entertainment options, meeting space, and staterooms for solo travelers, according to John Werner, president of MAST.
"We are excited to be working with Norwegian Cruise Line. They have a great product for MAST members to expand their portfolio of cruise experiences available to groups, families, corporate incentives, and for VIPs with exclusive accommodations and amenities found in The Haven onboard some ships. Norwegian has a breadth of product that will be fun to market and promote," Werner said.
"We believe this to be a real opportunity for us to dramatically expand our growing community of Norwegians in the Midwest," said Camille Olivere, Norwegian Cruise Line’s senior vice president of sales, Americas.
MAST Travel Network has 200 midwest agency members in ten states and Canada.
