MAST Travel Plans Fall Sales and Trade Show

travel agentMAST Travel Network reports that registration is open for the organization’s annual fall trade fair and product launch known as MAST Sales Sensation, slated for Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Drury Lane Theatre and Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois

Nine seminars are scheduled during the day including one presented by Jack Mannix, chairman of The Travel Institute and speaker and consultant with his own company Jack E. Mannix & Associates. Mannix was president of Ensemble Travel Group and president and CEO of The Travel Institute. The seminar will focus on sales skills and customer service.

Two destination seminars are planned: one on Greece presented by Apollo Tours, and the other on Vallarta Nayarit, presented by the tourism offices of the resort areas on the Pacific coast of Mexico

Other seminars include product experiences presented by Celebrity Cruises, Avalon Waterways and Apple Vacations. In addition, MAST will hold Client Base classes for beginners and more advanced users. 

Another seminar on comparing all-inclusive resort brands and rating systems will be presented by MAST Travel Network and still another seminar on Destination Wedding planning wil be presented by the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association.

Over 300 travel agent professionals are expected, MAST said. In the trade fair area, over 90 exhibitors representing MAST’s preferred suppliers, tourist offices, hotel companies, and technology and business vendors will be in attendance, MAST said.

The evening program includes a dinner followed by several supplier presentations. Dozens of door prizes such as trips, cruises, air tickets, and hotel stays will be presented, MAST said. 

This year’s theme: “Do you know the way to Santa Fe”, is a tie-in to MAST’s 2014 Annual Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico. MAST will celebrate 45 years in business in 2014, the consortia notes.
