New Travel Agent Dashboard From Solmar

Solmar Hotels & Resorts, a collection of seven all-suite properties in Los Cabos, Mexico, has rolled out a new dashboard for travel agents, as well as a number of resort updates.

The new Solmar Agent Expert platform is available to both new and existing travel agencies. Accessible with an IATA number, the platform’s dashboard allows travel agents to access a sales overview, room nights booked, revenue and commission earned. When creating a new reservation, agents can also book flights and combine it with the hotel stay through a Hotel & Air option. Once booked, the reservation is automatically added to the dashboard. Agents can also track bookings and run reports based on date, user and type. The reports are accessible on the Reservation Options tab under “Reservation Report.”

New travel agencies can access the platform by entering their phone number. The hotel group will provide access upon verification.

Solmar Hotels & Resorts provides the following commissions:

  • 1-29 room nights: Agents earn a 10 percent commission
  • 30-59 room nights: Agents earn a 15 percent commission
  • 60-90+ room nights: Agents earn a 18 percent commission plus a 4 day/3night certificate to enjoy at one of Solmar Hotels & Resorts properties

Property Updates

Solmar has also rolled out a number of property updates recently. Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa has introduced a new all-inclusive rate. Available upon booking, all meals and drinks are included during the entire stay as part of the new rate. Alternatively, guests can add on a meal plan during their stay at $99 per day, per guest (minimum use of three consecutive days).

Finally, Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Golf & Spa has added a number of new food and beverage outlets. These include the casual poolside Lagoon Bar, serving snacks, tropical drinks and tequila, as well as the alfresco, oceanview Aqua Grill & Bar. The new Market & Deli Café provides grab-and-go options, including everyday groceries, wine and liquor.
