Vail Resorts, Inc. recently announced that Paul G. Toner has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of RockResorts and Vail Resorts Hospitality.
Prior to his new appointment, Toner spent the last 18 months overseeing the sales and marketing efforts for the Vail Resorts hospitality division. In his new capacity Toner will oversee and direct the company’s lodging and hospitality division, composed of approximately 3,800 owned and managed hotel and condominium rooms.
“I am confident that his experience with all aspects of our lodging operations will help continue to drive performance and growth for the hospitality division of our Company," said Rob Katz, chairman and chief executive officer of Vail Resorts.
In addition to his work with Vail, Toner has 25 years of hospitality experience with luxury resort hotels in the U.S. and Asia, including three years as the vice president of sales and marketing for the Marriott Hong Kong Regional Office, three years as the director of marketing for the Marriott’s Pacific Islands Regional Office in Honolulu, and a number of other sales and marketing positions.
Vail Resorts, Inc. operates mountain resorts in the U.S., with properties in Colorado, the Tahoe area of California and Nevada and Wyoming. RockResorts is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vail Resorts that manages property across the United States and the Caribbean.
