OASIS named Nancy Scorby "Agent of the Year" at the annual OASIS Sales Meeting & Get Together, held in November in Las Vegas. A veteran of the travel business, Nancy has partnered with OASIS since August 2010. She attributes her success to good customer service and the valuable support she receives from OASIS.
“Oasis has helped me to grow my business in many ways; good relationships with quality vendors, website support, easy marketing and access to the Signature Travel Network, to name but a few,” says Nancy. “I believe that it’s all about personal service and making sure my clients are getting the most for their travel dollar. The Signature Travel Network Sales Meeting & Tradeshow, which was held back-to-back with the OASIS meeting, included the roll-out of Signature’s proprietary “Client Reach” system. Client Reach is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. It will enhance travel consultants engagement with their clients with personalized, automated messages.
Another highlight of the combined meetings was a presentation by social media marketing guru Margie Jordan. “Social networks have solidified their position as a major source of leads,” states Margie. “YouTube reaches more viewers than cable TV. Small businesses can now gain access to millions of viewers with YouTube. Facebook has over one billion users, almost 20% of them only access Facebook via a mobile device. Smart travel marketers are already reaping the benefits.”
