Pam Wright, chief executive officer, owner and founder of Nashville-based Wright Travel, has joined 29 other Middle Tennessee women in the 2009 “Women of Influence” class selected by the Nashville Business Journal.
Each year, the Nashville business publication recognizes outstanding women business leaders in categories such as community support, public policy, family business and corporate executive. Wright was one of six women recognized in the entrepreneur category.
According to the Nashville Business Journal, all members of the 2009 Women of Influence Class share the common traits of “perseverance, passion and compassion.”
Founded in 1981, Wright Travel provides business and leisure travel services from 16 full-service branch locations in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee and Utah.
