POLAR Links to TRAMS ClientBase

Princess and Cunard's POLAR Online reservation system will become the first major in-house cruise booking system to link directly with TRAMS ClientBase, the industry's leading customer relationship management program. Starting at the end of April, agents will be able to automatically transfer information about their Princess and Cunard bookings, from customer data and booking numbers to itineraries, from POLAR Online into ClientBase, facilitating their ability to monitor bookings in their own back-office systems. The interface, available through ClientBase's Live Connect feature, debuted at the TRAMS Technology & Marketing University in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand last week. Used by more agents to book Princess and Cunard cruises than any other system, the POLAR Online booking engine has brought cruise line internet reservations to a new level by providing travel agents direct access to the Princess reservations system. The POLAR Online tool can create a new booking in seven steps in as little as two minutes, and features more than 40 unique functions, including a number of resources and tools that cannot be found on any other online system. ClientBase is a fully integrated CRM tool used by more than 40,000 agents and recommended by leading consortia and global distribution systems.
