PricewaterhouseCoopers says that room night demand for the upcoming holiday season is set to increase by 2.6 percent over last year to a new record level of 2.39 million average occupied rooms per night between Nov. 23 and Jan. 1. The nine-day Christmas holiday period of Dec. 25 through Jan. 1 is forecast to increase by 1.7 percent to 48.8 percent, compared to the same period last year.
