RadiusGo will launch October 1 with more than 35,000 hotels and extensive flight, rental car and attractions and transfers options for RADIUS member agencies to offer corporate customers, the group reports.
RADIUS member agencies manage more than USD 23 billion of annual corporate travel spending, and the RADIUS Global Hotel Program, claims to be one of the largest in the corporate travel market.
The new off-GDS service will complement the GDS-based RADIUS Global Hotel Program and will be important to customers requiring pre-payments for travelers who don’t carry a credit card, most common in the Latin America and Asia Pacific regions, RADIUS notes.
“We’re already selling 12 million room nights a year for our hotel partners through the GDS and we’re focused on growing that number. Adding the RadiusGo inventory addresses the needs of our agencies in off-GDS regions and provides additional booking options for our entire network,” said Chris McAndrews, senior vice president, marketing & partnerships for RADIUS.
RADIUS reports it has chosen Tourico Holidays as the inventory source for RadiusGo because of Tourico’s technology and its global inventory. The company is rapidly expanding around the globe, adding more products and destinations weekly, RADIUS said. This new inventory also provides significant price advantages at the nearly 800 ExclusiveDeal properties worldwide at which Tourico Holidays has exclusive terms and prepaid room blocks.
“This partnership will provide the RADIUS network with competitively priced travel options around the world,” said Jason Soss, president of global business development for Tourico Holidays. “Our sales are already up over 40 percent YTD. This new partnership will bring even more business to our hotel partners and add more fuel to our global expansion.”
