Resort for a Day Expands, Launches New Website

new resort for a day websiteResort for a Day, a distributor of resort day-pass shore excursions, reports the launch of a new website and the expansion of  its product offerings for travel agents, their clients and consumers.

Resort for a Day gives cruisers the opportunity to spend the day at resorts at popular ports of call, including Jamaica, Cozumel, Nassau, San Juan, Freeport, Grand Cayman, Barbados, St. Maarten, Roatan and Tobago, the company says.

The newly redesigned website - http://www.resortforaday.com/, has a more modern feel, is more user-friendly and has a travel agent portal. The portal provides agents with a unique Resort for a Day URL that allows them to receive credit when they or their clients purchase a day pass.

Recently, World Travel Holdings acquired an ownership interest in Resort for a Day and is working alongside Stuart Cohen who founded the company in 2008.

“Partnering with World Travel Holdings enables Resort for a Day to reach a larger audience and gives more agents and consumers the opportunity to take advantage of this excursion option,” said Cohen. “The ability to focus solely on resort day-pass excursions allows us to select only the finest resorts with locations closest to the cruise ship piers giving our travel agent partners and customers the best products available.”

In addition to selling resort day passes direct to the consumer, Resort for a Day works with numerous travel agents and agencies nationwide, beyond the portfolio of brands owned by World Travel Holdings.

“In addition to providing the cruise industry this new product, Resort for a Day also further diversifies World Travel Holdings’ portfolio of brands,” said Sean Tolkin, director, business development for World Travel Holdings.

Since joining World Travel Holdings, Resort for a Day says it has added another destination — San Juan (The Caribe Hilton). Resort for a Day said it will continue to increase its existing product line by adding new destinations and resorts as well as increasing its travel agent partners and group business.
