Royal Caribbean Issues Advisories, Alters Itineraries

Royal Caribbean International, as of noon Tuesday, issued its latest advisory on its ship itineraries affected by Hurricane Dean. The cruise line is currently altering the itineraries of two ships and issuing guidance concerning another:

Enchantment of the Seas: Departed Port Everglades on August 18 and is sailing a modified itinerary with calls in Labadee, Haiti (it called there Monday), and Nassau, Bahamas, on Wednesday, before returning to Port Everglades on Thursday.

Rhapsody of the Seas: Departed Port Galveston on August 19 and is sailing a modified itinerary with a port call in Key West on Tuesday, but will continue on its previously scheduled itinerary to Georgetown, Cayman Islands on Thursday and Cozumel, Mexico, Friday, before returning to Port Galveston on Sunday. Friday's port of call is subject to change based on possible hurricane-related damage to Mexico.

Freedom of the Seas: Departed Miami on August 19 and is sailing its scheduled itinerary, which is subject to change based on possible hurricane-related damage to Mexico.
