Sabre on Friday launched VacationStudio, a leisure travel site powered by MySabre, which allows North American agents to shop and book cruises and vacation packages. Sabre Connected agents automatically have access to the tool under the VacationStudio tab in MySabre and will have exclusive access to supplier promotions and packages. By completing a free registration on the web site, the tool also is available to agents who do not currently use Sabre's global distribution system. VacationStudio gives access to a range of commissionable leisure products, such as Sabre Cruises, TripTailor and Agent59, the company said. "With VacationStudio any agent, including home-based agents, can book commissionable vacation packages from any of the 13 cruise lines and more than 40 tour operators, as well as create their own packages dynamically using TripTailor," said Dan Westbrook, vice president of travel merchandising for Sabre Travel Network. "All of this can be accomplished through one streamlined, comprehensive travel site." Sabre noted that the site also offers an agent toolkit, sticky notes for virtual memos and a support system that includes reference materials, agent communities and free online training courses and tutorials.
