Hawaii has long attracted adventure travelers for its overabundance of hiking, biking, helicoptering, surfing and general adventuring of all kinds. The article suggests Bike Volcano’s summit-to-sea bicycle adventure that starts in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with a challenging oceanside bike ride and ends with a trek to witness Kilauea volcano’s active lava flow. Editors spoke to leading Hawaii specialists for their take on the most romantic question-popping places. The travel planner also previews nearly 20 noteworthy hotels found across the Aloha State. The section details the renovations, restaurants, pools, suites and amenities that help each property beat out stiff competition for most romantic accommodations.
