Signature Travel Adds New Marketing Post

Signature Travel Network has appointed Heidi Podjavorsek to the newly created position of Director - Sales and Marketing for Destination Partnerships. Podjavorsek will manage Signature relationships with wholesalers, tourism boards and destination specialists.

As Signature continues to grow, the organization is seeking ways to better support critical partners, Signature said. " With this appointment, Signature will better engage with destination partners and leverage marketing and training initiatives to bring value to members and their clients," said Michelle Morgan, President of Signature Travel Network.

Podjavorsek has a long history of working in the tourism sector. She has worked in tourism marketing for 14 years. She comes to Signature from African Travel, a Glendale, California safari operator where she acted as Director of Sales and Marketing for the company. There she managed preferred partner negotiations, managed sales and was the key liaison between consortia members and African Travel. Additionally, Podjavorsek worked in management for the German National Tourist Office and STA Travel.
