On Monday, Silversea promoted David Morris to executive vice president of sales and marketing for North America. Morris, a veteran cruise executive with decades of experience, had formerly served as Silversea's senior vice president of sales and marketing. The company said the past two years have been the most successful in its history with sizable growth in North America and Latin America, which it attributed to Morris. In his new role, Morris will focus on further expanding the Latin American market, including overseeing the appointment of dedicated sales offices in Mexico and Brazil. Morris joined Silversea in early 2004 after having worked at Cunard Line and Crystal Cruises.
