Silversea Reorganizes At The Top

Silversea announced on Monday four key sales-side promotions, which the luxury-cruise operator hopes will further round out and fortify its worldwide sales and marketing efforts. Marilyn Conroy has been given the title of senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas. Conroy will retain her North American duties, but has now been charged with overseeing strategy in Latin America, particularly Mexico and Brazil. Trudy Redfern, who before focused on sales in the UK markets, will now be responsible for sales strategy in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East, as senior vice president of sales and marketing and managing director of the UK office. Steve Odell will retain sales and marketing responsibility for the Asia and Pacific markets out of his Sydney office, while Enrico Origone will continue to develop strategy as senior vice president of sales and marketing for continental Europe. All four will report to David Morris, Silversea's executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.
