Vacation.com, North America’s leading travel services marketing organization, announces that Dugan’s Travels, owned and operated by Jennifer Dugan, has been selected in the top 200 of StartupNation's 2009 Leading Moms In Business Competition.

The competition recognizes the achievements of mothers across the country who run outstanding businesses. Winners were selected and ranked from thousands of applicants according to more than 600,000 public votes accumulated from January through March 2009.

“We are proud of Jennifer’s success as both a travel professional and a dedicated mother,” said Steve Tracas, Vacation.com’s president and CEO. “Juggling business and family is never easy; thankfully Jennifer has access to Vacation.com’s exclusive suite of benefits to help her with the business side.”

Opened in 1997, Dugan's Travels is a full-service agency in Los Alamos, NM. With a network of more than 600 agents located in the U.S. and Canada, Dugan’s Travels specializes in helping home-based travel agencies succeed.

“When I decided more than a decade ago to stay at home with my firstborn and start my own business, I knew it would be tough and rewarding,” said Dugan. “Vacation.com has been a valuable partner throughout my journey, and I appreciate all the support they give me.”
