TIA Unveils Tourism Week Theme

This year's National Tourism Week, taking place May 12 through 20, will focus on the importance of travel to America's image. "Tourism: America's Front Door," is a nine-day program that will discuss the travel industry's impact and role in economic development across the country. "I love the image represented by the National Tourism Week theme," said Roger Dow, president and CEO of the Travel Industry Association. "It says, 'You are welcome here.' We want people from near and far to discover America and come to know our people, regions and attractions." Visit [www.tia.org].
