The Tides Zihuatanejo Appoints New GM and Resort Manager

Luis Fernandes, senior vice president of hotel operations for Kor Hotel Group, the Los Angeles-based hotel, real estate development and management firm, has announced two new senior management appointments at The Tides Zihuatanejo its newest luxury resort on Mexico's Pacific Coast (formerly Hotel Villa del Sol). Carlos Blanco is the new general manager and Rodrigo Caldeira, the resort manager.

Carlos Blanco brings to his position two decades of luxury hotel and resort experience, including 10 years in senior management positions with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Most recently he served as managing director at Jumby Bay in the Caribbean, and he's held positions at Los Cabos' Las Ventanas al Paraiso.
