Travel Leaders gave its annual Golden Legacy Award to franchisees Annette and Jim Youngbauer, owners of four Travel Leaders locations in the Milwaukee area. The award honors Associates (franchisees) whose lifetime achievements best exemplify the franchise system’s entrepreneurial spirit and highest quality standards. Travel Leaders also honored franchisees Dale and Wendy Rauwerdink and Jim Prigge – who together own six Travel Leaders locations in suburban Milwaukee and Green Bay. The three received Travel Leaders’ “Associate of the Year” award for their excellence in service to clients and effective use of the Travel Leaders brand over the course of the past year.
The annual sales volume for the agency has increased from under $1 million in 1987 to over $20 million in the current fiscal year. Of their current 50 employees, 32 percent have been with the company for over 20 years. Currently business travel accounts represent 45 percent of their overall sales volume.
