Travel Agent is kicking off this year’s Caribbean Week with a special Facebook Live event bringing together top tourism representatives from across the region to share the latest updates from their destinations. Interviews will be held in our New York offices starting June 3 at 2:30 p.m. EDT and streamed live on our Facebook page. Be sure to like our page so that you can join in and get the latest updates.
During our Facebook Live event, we will host representatives from Caribbean hotspots including St. Lucia, Antigua, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Turks & Caicos. They will share the latest tourism updates and trends from their respective destinations, along with insider tips on local events and festivals, new flights, cruise updates, new resorts and more.
Organized by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), Caribbean Week runs from June 1 – 9, bringing tourism officials, industry executives, the media, the Caribbean Diaspora, travel advisors, consumers and students to New York City for a full week of activities showcasing the best of Caribbean tourism. The weeklong celebration combines business sessions and consumer-oriented events with food, fashion, entertainment, sales and networking opportunities, all with the goal of creating awareness of the Caribbean’s diverse tourism offerings and authentic cultural experiences, as well as driving business development opportunities in the region.
