Questex Travel Group, organizers of Travel Industry Exchange, the number one event for agent specialization, has revised the format from an expo in previous years, to a fully hosted agent event. The event will take place October 12-14, 2017 at The Sheraton New Orleans, in New Orleans, Louisiana. All agents who are approved to attend the program will be treated to complimentary roundtrip airfare to New Orleans, three nights’ accommodations at The Sheraton New Orleans, all event meals, activities, and receptions.

Travel Industry Exchange will bring leading global travel suppliers representing hotels, resorts, cruise lines, destinations, transportation providers, technology companies, and professional services to meet one-to-one with pre-qualified travel agents, as well as offer destination specialization conference sessions, and multiple networking receptions, providing participating suppliers with over nine hours of agent face time.

John McMahon, executive vice president for the Questex Travel Group, said the event has proven successful time over time by offering top-of-the-line specialization education that provides valuable tools for future agent revenue growth.

“As more consumers look to travel professionals for expert advice, we see untapped potential in destination specialization,” said McMahon. “The ability to curate a vacation for the savvy traveler, especially for those millennials who don’t seek a one size fits all vacation, is a gateway to greater success.”

Travel Industry Exchange will bring fully vetted U.S. and Canadian travel agents together with global suppliers for up to 35 one-to-one, pre-scheduled appointments, destination specialization education, and networking events and receptions.
