Travel-Insurance Group Posts Sizable Membership Boost

The U.S. Travel Insurance Association (USTiA) has grown by almost 40 percent in the last year and is looking to continue expanding. That's the word following the annual conference of this group, which is a nonprofit association of insurance carriers and allied businesses involved in travel insurance assistance. USTiA says it wants to expand its membership to include brokers, insurers, third-party sellers and other providers, and in particular those specializing in student health. The group also wants to partner with other organizations to advocate for consistency in state licensing regarding sellers of travel insurance. Visit [www.ustia.com] or [www.ustia.org].
