Travel Leaders Group has announced that it has added over 150 properties for 2014 to Select Hotels & Resorts, the company's proprietary luxury hotel offering.
Travel Leaders Group is also announcing that all of its pre-approved luxury-oriented agencies and agents are authorized to offer Select Hotels & Resorts to their clients.
“As our recent travel trends survey of our agents indicated, luxury accommodations are – by a wide margin – the single most important luxury component of a trip that their clients find most important,” said Barry Liben, CEO of Travel Leaders Group. “In addition to the 38.3 percent who indicated that, another 8.4 percent said that ultra-luxury accommodations were the number one luxury component their clients wanted. Select Hotels & Resorts was first launched in 2013 with 447 properties. Today, the program includes 608 properties in 225 cities, 66 countries spanning all inhabited continents. In addition to offering competitive rates, all participating properties offer complimentary breakfasts for two daily, special VIP amenities, complimentary room upgrades (upon availability), early check-ins and late check-outs (when available), and more.
Eligible Travel Leaders Group agents are able to book Select Hotels & Resorts through their GDS using TZE in Worldspan, Sabre and Amadeus or TZEL in Apollo/Galileo.
