Travel Leaders reports it has added six additional travel agency members with 20 locations in nine different states, since the beginning of this year. Williamsburg Travel Management is the most recent addition – officially joining the Travel Leaders network on June 1. Its fourteen locations across five states throughout the southeast represent annual travel sales in excess of $100 million, Travel Leaders says.

“We are very pleased with the high-caliber agencies that are choosing to join Travel Leaders. Not only do they see the value in our myriad of award-winning programs, but they also understand that we are an extension of their agency and can assist them in numerous ways to become even more successful,” said Roger E. Block, president of Travel Leaders Franchise Group.

“The work we have done in creating our ‘Centers of Excellence’ in business and luxury travel, along with our new independent contractor program, is part of the attraction. So, too, is our marketing, technology and the opportunity to become part of an $18 billion dollar travel industry powerhouse in Travel Leaders Group," Block said.

New members include:

·         Travel Leaders/Adventure Travel – Lawton, OK

·         Travel Leaders/Aquila Travel – Albuquerque, NM

·         Travel Leaders/Greaves Travel – Highland Park, IL

·         Travel Leaders/Travel Concepts – Southbury, CT

·         Travel Leaders/Travel Management International – Dublin, IE

·         Travel Leaders/Williamsburg Travel Management – Marietta, GA

“In reviewing options in the marketplace, I looked for a partner who could take us to the next level, who had a vision for the future, and was willing to commit the necessary resources to make both of us successful in the long term,” said Terry W. Brennan, president of Travel Leaders/Williamsburg Travel Management.

Among other benefits, Brennan cited the In-Country Partners program, part of Travel Leaders’ “Luxury Center of Excellence”, that includes 60 overseas Destination Management Companies in over 80 countries. Through this program, Travel Leaders members can better assist their independent travelers – as well as incentive and affiliate groups.

For member agencies who manage corporate travel, Travel Leaders offers exclusive rates to use Concur booking software.  Travel Leaders members can take advantage of the  Travel Leaders support team, which provides the set up and technical administration of the customized booking sites unique to each corporate account.
