Travel Leaders Group Promotes Dave Spinelli to Vice President



Dave Spinelli, who currently serves as’s Director of Strategic Business Development, has been promoted to Vice President of Industry Relations & Revenue Management within Travel Leaders Group.
 In his new leadership role, Spinelli will be responsible for developing and fostering the strongest possible relationships for Travel Leaders Group with a wide range of leisure-focused preferred suppliers across its group of companies. Spinelli first joined in 2001; was acquired by Travel Leaders Group in December 2010.

“Since the travel agency business is our heart and soul, we’re further aligning each of our diverse agency groups to ensure we’re packing the strongest negotiating power possible with suppliers commensurate with our size and scope. This will further benefit every agency and agent under our growing umbrella,” noted Barry Liben, Travel Leaders Group CEO. “With Dave’s strategic background in handling supplier relations for, along with his focus on business analysis and planning, as well as commercial negotiating, I believe that he and his team will help us achieve enormous respect from our supplier partners.”

Prior to his most recent role with, Spinelli held various director-level positions within the company, including e-commerce marketing and sales. He was also involved in’s travel agency membership recruitment nationally. Spinelli joined following the merger between ACTION 6 and Before the acquisition, he held the position of General Manager of ACTION 6, handling the overall operations of the member agency consortium. Spinelli also worked for many years at travel trade publications in New York City under the title of Managing Editor.
 Travel Leaders Group manages leisure, business and franchise travel operations under a variety of diversified divisions and brands and reported sales of over $14 billion in 2010.
