The annual meeting will take place November 9-11, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. The event will offer associates insights and workshops that will highlight what is ahead for Travel Leaders Network. There will also be various education, training and relationship-building activities with partners and colleagues. The theme of the New Orleans-based event is “Get Jazzed,” creating a combination of travel and southern-culture.
Travel Leaders Group has combined three of its agency brands to comprise a new entity called Travel Leaders Network. Under the new organization, Vacation.com, Travel Leaders Associates and Results! Travel, as of January 1, 2017, will function as one, under the single name, Travel Leaders Network. The names Vacation.com and Results! will sunset as a result of the move.
The combination of agency brands together generates $6.4 billion in cruise and tour sales. All told, adding in air, car and hotel revenue into the mix, they generate $17 billion a year and comprise more than a third of the travel agencies in North America.

An interactive Learning Lounge and more than 60 educational workshops covering both corporate and leisure topics will be available to associates to further learn how their Travel Leaders agency will continue to grow as the flagship brand of the new Travel Leaders Network.
Troy Hazard, a global entrepreneur specializing in franchise space, is the meeting’s keynote speaker. Over the last two decades Hazard founded and developed 12 businesses and has acted as a consultant to leading franchise brands like Baskin Robins, Subway and Goodyear.
During the meeting Travel Leaders Associates will be hosting a trade show for attendees to meet and network with longtime sponsors of the event, including Delta Airlines, Enterprise Holdings, Funjet Vacations, Globus, Travelport and Viking Cruises. Sponsors will also be available during specific workshops to help agencies learn about partnerships that can grow their business.
Throughout the meeting, associates have the opportunity to attend a variety of destinations-oriented as well as education-oriented workshops. Destinations workshops include “There’s Nothing Like Australia,” “Discover Hawaii,” “Come and Fall in Love with Mexico!” and “Let Us Show You New Zealand.” The six educational workshops include “Business Travel Sales,” “Selling Leisure Travel,” “Social Media,” “Leading the Business,” “Niche Markets” and “The World of Technology.”
Within the six specialty workshop areas, a multitude of one-hour workshops will be available to attend as well, focusing on over 13 different topics. Topics of these workshops include using CruisePro, taking virtual payments, upselling to luxury travel, social media, itinerary planning, productivity, Concur and more.
