The campaign, in collaboration with Royal Caribbean International, featured the development of a social content hub, http://www.myroyaladventure.com, which had user-generated content from Royal Caribbean cruise-goers and was designed to inform Travel Leader’s travel agents. The company has more than 6,000 travel agency locations in the United States and Canada.
Travel Leaders added motion to consumer submitted images and switched its Facebook marketing from the “traffic” objective to the “conversation” objective to produce more lead conversions and reduce cost per click. Targeting a lookalike audience like the leads already created exasperated the results.
Also recognized was the #MyRoyalAdventure marketing initiative by the Digital Travel Choice Awards as Best Digital Marketing Campaign from a Travel Retailer.
