Travel Professionals Earn Accessible Travel Certification

travel agentUnderscoring the importance of the disabled travel market, the Special Needs Group (SNG) reports that 915 travel professionals have earned certification from its Certified Accessible Travel Advocate program in the past year. Special Needs Group President & CEO Andrew Garnett also said two firms -Cruise Planners/American Express and WMPH Vacations - were named SNG Accessible Travel Advocate Power Partners for 2012.

The SNG Certified Accessible Travel Advocate program is a free, online program that informs agents on the size, scope and needs of the  disabled market segment along with the protection offered by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).SNG is a special needs equipment provider serving the cruise industry and other segments of the market.
