Tripology, the online travel referral service that matches consumer travelers with travel specialists based on their expertise, has evolved its network of travel specialists, known as Tripologists, to include 10,000 travel professionals, a goal that was reached in the middle of December of 2008.

Over the past several months, Tripology has also announced a number of new alliances with national travel industry groups and consortia that not only speak to the breadth of the expertise of the online referral service’s network, but also to its commitment to the travel industry. Additionally, the company’s process of qualifying travel specialists has been refined based on feedback from agents using Tripology and also based on what consumers are seeking— as seen in their trip requests and interactive dialogue.
