Tweeters Spread Luxury Travel Expo Buzz

It's been quite the busy few days here at TravelAgentCentral. In addition to delivering the latest in travel industry news that takes place daily, we've also been at full throttle in our coverage of the Luxury Travel Expo.

We've been getting images of the show floor, as well as first looks at Vdara, and Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas hotels, from Ruthanne Terrero, as well as one report after the other from Joe Pike on everything from first-time exhibitors to breaking news about WestAfrica cruises. But as fantastic as the two are at reporting, they are only human and cannot share every single detail from the event.

So, we turned to Twitter, and looked up the #LTE and #LTE2009 hash tags and found a variety of humorous and informative tweets, ranging from travel aphorisms to industry stats. We learned that stay-at-home dads are an alluring market for online and, apparently, travel agents love doing the electric slide (if you read Kirk Cassels' report on the Hyatt Travel Agent Awards in Aruba you may have already known that after watching his video).

If you are at the show and want to share something with us directly, send us a tweet (@travelagentmag) or shoot us an e-mail at [email protected]. Until then, check out some of our favorite tweets on the event below.
