Virtuoso Partners With OneTrust on GDPR Compliance

OneTrust has announced that Virtuoso has selected the company for its privacy program and marketing compliance initiatives. According to a statement from OneTrust, Virtuoso will leverage OneTrust's Assessment Automation (PIA/DPIAs), Data Mapping and Cookie Consent modules for GDPR, ePrivacy and global privacy regulation compliance.

Virtuoso's business involves collecting or processing services that require the company to collect or process personal data of members and their clients. To build trust with data subjects and build a privacy program for the GDPR era, Virtuoso will use OneTrust's privacy management software solutions to continuously assess internal processes, mitigate risks and demonstrate compliance. Virtuoso is also deploying the OneTrust cookie banner for its own website and for the thousands of members that white label the Virtuoso website for their own business.

"OneTrust modules gives us the flexibility and customization to tackle GDPR one step at a time and makes privacy compliance easier," said Rekha Kothamachu, director of data integration and reporting, Virtuoso, in a written statement. "If there's a change to an application or process, through OneTrust everyone involved is aware of the change and can determine if one change causes other data impacts.”

OneTrust is a privacy management and marketing compliance software company. It offers a platform that is designed to work with GDPR, a scheme of privacy protection regulations recently introduced by the European Union, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and other global data privacy regulations.
