WESTA (Western Association of Travel Agencies) has introduced four travel industry veterans to its 2018 Board of Directors. Representing member travel agencies in California, Washington, and Oregon, WESTA’s newest board members are:
  • Sally McKay, MG Travel, Oceanside, California
  • Kathy Bos, KB’s Travel, Sacramento, California
  • Paul Schneidmiller, World Wide Travel, Walla Walla, Washington
  • Judy Ridings, R & R Travel, Cascade Locks, Oregon

They join current board members Les Burger, Ladera Travel, Menlo Park, California, and Marc Titus, Travel Travel, Irvine, California, who now serve as president and vice president respectively, and seated board members Dan Smith, Travel by Dan, Seattle, Washington; Ross Beatty, Beatty Travel Group, Beaverton, Oregon (treasurer); Sue Fleener, A to Z Travel, Salem, Oregon (secretary); Judy Ireland, Judy’s Travel, San Leandro, California; Maureen Dinnocenzo, Above and Beyond Travel, Arnold, California; Scott Pinheiro, Santa Cruz Travel, Scotts Valley, California; and Monica Fraga, Travel to Go, Clayton, California (past president).

WESTA’s Board of Directors provides input on the consortium’s marketing strategy, programs and initiatives, as well as insider intelligence on emerging trends and industry-wide challenges and opportunities.

The Western Association of Travel Agencies is a member owned and governed marketing cooperative whose programs are specifically designed to support premium and luxury targeted retail travel companies located on the West Coast. WESTA is operated for the sole purpose of generating increased revenues for its membership through a broad spectrum of programs run in partnership with a selected group of travel partners who also target this same geographic market.
