Signature Travel Network's three-day Sales Meeting & Trade Show opened November 5 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This year, the Sales Meeting is hosting more than 2,200 attendees, including more than 1,350 Signature travel consultants representing 94 percent of Signature’s member agencies. Preferred supplier partners, which include cruise lines, land and tour suppliers, destination specialists, tourism boards, hotels and resorts, airlines, and specialty suppliers, are also in attendance at record levels, with more than 860 representatives participating.

The conference features two keynote speakers. On Thursday, Erik Wahl – an internationally recognized graffiti artist, author and entrepreneur – will use his on-stage painting as a visual metaphor that encourages people to channel the creative power of their talent and passion to achieve superior levels of performance and profitability. On Friday, Bruce Poon Tip, founder of G Adventures, will share his passion for sustainability and philanthropy.

Throughout the conference, Signature members have a choice of more than 60 seminars, including sessions on destination training, social media, luxury and niche market sales, client database analysis and segmentation, and digital marketing strategies, as well as technology-focused workshops that spotlight Signature’s state-of-the-art tools. In addition to training opportunities, Signature members will participate in networking sessions with preferred suppliers in attendance. New this year, consultants have the opportunity to schedule one-to-one appointments with preferred partner representatives at the annual trade show, which has been extended to Friday and Saturday, and features more than 500 booths and pavilions. In conjunction with the trade show Signature partners have committed more than $800,000 worth of educational trips to the travel consultant prize drawing.

The conference will also celebrate more than 600 consultants who have completed the Signature Travel Expert program, which launched in June 2015. Wednesday night, more than 600 consultants registered for training with destination partners New Zealand and Hawaii, and more than 900 consultants attended the Worldwide Destination Specialist and Specialty Supplier Showcase. On Saturday afternoon, more than 350 consultants will attend a Best Practices workshop hosted by CLIA
