An Epic Summer Awaits Your Clients In Belize.

Belize is a beautiful place to visit any time of year, but summer is a fabulous choice for families with kids out of school or anyone with a love of warm weather and welcoming locals.

Since English is the official language, chatting with the friendly Belizean locals will be second nature for your clients. Locals are enthusiastic, and eager to share their country with visitors from far and wide, so it’s wise to grab a cold Belikin (the official beer of Belize) and get some good advice from those who know the nation best.

Whether your clients choose to stay on the beach, in the jungle or in any of the vibrant towns throughout Belize, they’ll find no shortage of experiences to enjoy. And one of those is a horseback ride to Xunantunich, one of Belize’s most famous Maya archaeological sites. Atop a trusty steed and with a knowledgeable guide leading the way, your clients will travel traditionally to this spectacular site, crossing the Mopan River on a hand-cranked ferry along the way.

Offshore, the Belize Barrier Reef offers yet another chance to see sights not found elsewhere. This UNESCO site is the largest living barrier reef in the world, running the entire length of the nation and creating an enormous lagoon along its shore. Snorkelers and scuba divers travel the world over to dive here, and once your clients see the vibrantly colored coral and endless array of aquatic life on display here, they’ll understand why.

In stores and restaurants across Belize, your clients will have the chance to test the limits of their love of spice thanks to ever-present bottles of famous Marie Sharp’s hot sauce. The “Queen of Habanero,” Marie Sharp has been creating her famous hot sauces since 1981 and they’re a staple in most Belizean kitchens. Be sure to tell your clients to bring back a few bottles to share with friends at home.

During July, the Lobster Festival is an event that brings out some of the best flavors Belize has to offer. Festivities include live music, artists selling traditional Belizean goods, an energy-packed block party and more delicious lobster being prepared than you can imagine. The festival takes place in Caye Caulker, San Pedro and Placencia, so tell your clients to plan their travel dates around which portion of the festival they plan to attend.

The summer is also home to Belize’s biggest event of the year—the Belize International Music and Food Festival. Bringing in huge international acts to play alongside Belize’s own musical acts, the festival is a can’t-miss event for your clients who love authentic cuisine, inspiring music and an enthusiastic crowd having the time of their lives in a stunning, tropical setting.

Whatever your clients are looking to get out of their summer vacation, taking a short flight to Belize is the ideal way to start it off. From there, they can climb waterfalls, soar through the jungle on ziplines, fish the crystal-clear waters offshore or just stroll through colorful towns and soak up the joy of spending a week on Belizean time. Encourage them to book a trip and Grab Life in Belize soon.
