Additional Options for Runaway Clients

Wholesalers that serve the destinations featured by Runaway Tours continue to come forward with offers of assistance. Runaway plans to refund payments received for travel scheduled to start after Feb. 28. It will provide full service to travelers who start their trips by Feb. 28 and whose journeys have been paid in full. Among the most recent to announce their readiness to help with rebooking are Blue Sky Tours and Funjet Vacations. Blue Sky Tours is asking agents to fax or e-mail a copy of each confirmed Runaway Tours booking they'd like to convert; reservations staff will contact agents to confirm receipt of the itineraries and finalize the bookings. Agents should call 800-678-2787, fax 800-747-1221 or e-mail [email protected]. Funjet Vacations has dedicated staff members to help agents with rebooking and asks that agents e-mail [email protected] with details of the help needed; the company will contact agents to discuss the options available. In addition, Funjet is offering travelers a savings of $100 per reservation for travel to Mexico, Hawaii or the Caribbean that is booked by Feb. 28 for departures through Oct. 31. Agents would visit [www.vaxvacationaccess.com] and use promo code "FJVSAVE1" to book.
