CIE Jump Starts 2011 Group Travel

To assist travel agents in selling group travel for 2011, CIE Tours International is launching a new 32-page brochure of escorted tour vacations to Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, according to Brian W. Stack, managing director of CIE Tours International. These scheduled tours, which are also featured on CIE Tours' web site,, are all available for group bookings now

“With 30 percent additional capacity in 2011... all tours are ready-made for one-step group sales now, and 85 percent of all tour departures are guaranteed,” Stack states.

Booking passengers on CIE's scheduled tours requires no prior experience in selling group travel. The tours are already set up and hotels are confirmed, so agents can start to promote and sell immediately. Agents can select just the right program from a wide choice of over 25 ready-made itineraries.

Earn two free places on the land tour with 32 passengers, one free place with 16 passengers, or a 50 percent discount on one place with eight people, CIE says. All the necessary ingredients for a tour are included such as sightseeing, boat rides, and dinner/shows, which can add up to an additional $600 per couple per week.

The selection of Preview 2011 tours includes 18 different escorted tours in Ireland, ranging from six to 13 days; two escorted tours for Ireland with Scotland of 11 to 12 days; two escorted tours of Scotland from nine to 12 days; two escorted tours of Ireland with Britain of 15 days; and one escorted tour of Scotland and England of nine days.

In addition, CIE is debuting two brand new tours of Britain: an Old England & Heritage Tour of eight or 10 days; and a Heart of Wales & England escorted tour of nine days. The 2011 land prices start at $698 per person for a fully escorted six-day/four-night vacation, plus airfare.
