Cruise West president and CEO, Jeff Krida, is retiring after eight years with the Seattle-based small-ship line, effective February 1. Krida, who began his career at Cruise West in 2000 as president and COO, will now turn his focus on "Voluntourism," experiences for travelers who want to make a difference for the people and places they visit. Krida was also a strong advocate of Cruise West's "Our Bear Cares" program, which actively contributes to people and communities in the destinations Cruise West serves. He will remain with the company on a consultant basis. (DE)
